Silent Reading

I think that the reason the school gets pupils to read every morning is because they want the pupils to improve their vocubulary,grammer and interest to reading.These knowledge would help them in their studies,examinations or even in the society when they have to communicate with peoples.Seriously,I like reading a lot but unfortunately,I do not have the time to take some time to read as I have stacks of worksheets and assesment books given by the school and my parents.Reading helps me to improve my knowledge and I seems to be attracted to reading that when I read a book,I cannot stop but continue to read till I have assignments to do.I also like it when the school gets the pupils to read every morning because then I have the time to read.

Outside school activities

I am involved in my volleyball training,baskteball training and tuition outside the school.These are the sports and education that I had wanted.I spent about 3months and 2hours in every activities that I am training and revising to achieve amazing results that I am expecting.I am involved in these activities because firstly,I find them useful and interesting to me and I put my heart into these activities in order to achieve my expectations.I find these activities necessary for me because tuition helped me to achieve high scores for my subjects and volleyball,basketball helped to improve my strength and accuracy.They did not affect my studies as I had balance my studies and activities equally well.Actually,I don't really feel stressed with all these activities because on the opposite side,these activities relaxes and cool me down from my stress that I have in school.I am encouraging pupils to take part in the activities outside the school because it will give them an extra knowledge about something that they know or don't know.

Passion For Learning

I understand that 'passion for learning' is a kind of will that enables one to learn more in studies and never give up when faced with difficult questions.People who have passion for learning will be very eager to learn whatever his/her teacher told him/her to do.I think that passion for learning is necessary for people as they will also improve their studies in this way as they want to learn more things than others.I know of a family member who had a very strong passion for learning,it was my uncle.Although he is quite old,he still continue to go to centre or schools to acquire learning skills such as computer techic,science experiments and english drama.I am very impressed of my uncle for his passion for learning.Unfortunately,I only had a little bit of passion in me.That is due to my continuous watching tv and playing computer games at home.Whenever I finish my homework,I will have nothing to do but watching tv and playing computer games.Therefore,I am obsessed in watching tv and playing computer games.I will try to occupy myself with work in order to resist the temptation of watching tv and playing computer games.Then I could improve my passion for learning with works to do everyday and reduce my temptation for playing.

Target Setting

I set targets for my subjects because this method helps me to achieve my goals with realistic steps.In this way,I can have a better understanding about what I have to achieve and what I am achieving.I think that this is useful because setting targets helps me to understand what my goals are and I will not be as aimless as before,not knowing what my goal is.I will also do 5 pages of assesment books per subject everyday in order to achieve high marks for my examinations and PSLE,watch television for 3hours per day and spent only 1hour to play computer games every sunday.My parents also help to check my work regurlarly and giving me advise about my work.They will also correct me if I did wrong in my work and explained to me why I am wrong.They are a great help to me in my studies,without them,I cannot achieve what I am achieving now.I think that the school could also held more learning activities to help me as well as the students whose grades are very low.
